Space Needed: Our whole pork share requires approximately 3.5 to 6.5 cubic feet of freezer space (take home weight depends on the size of the pig at the time of butchering).
Our whole hog shares range from 180 to 225 lbs hanging weight at just $5.00 per pound (hanging weight). The customer covers all butcher fees, which are paid directly to the butcher when you pick up your meat.
Total cost estimate: $900-$1,125 (depending on final weight)
Take home yield: After processing, you’ll receive approximately 60-70% of the hanging weight in delicious, ready-to-cook cuts like bacon, roasts, chops, and sausage!

A Note on Size: Due to natural variations in pig sizes, the exact quantity and selection of cuts may vary. We do our best to butcher each pig between 250-275 lbs hanging weight, however, they are sometimes over and sometimes under this weight with a range of 225-300 lbs.
