Combine 3 tbsp of tea with 4 cups of water. Cover.
Slowly, bring to a simmer. Simmer for 20 to 60 minutes.
Add more water if needed to keep 4 cups. The longer the simmer, the stronger the flavor. Add more water to mellow the flavor.
Strain. Sip on throughout the day. Gently reheat as needed.
