May 2025 be filled with joy and celebration. This year’s theme is inspired by the bold inscription on the Liberty Bell:
“And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year. Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof. It shall be a jubilee unto you. Ye shall return every man unto his possession. Ye shall return every man unto his family.”
– Leviticus 25:10
Let freedom ring across the United States, from the hills of New Hampshire to the mountains of California, from Georgia’s Stone Mountain to the slopes of Tennessee. Let freedom ring from every village, city, and state. Together, we can speed up that day. All of God’s children—black and white, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics—will join hands and sing, “Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”
– Martin Luther King Jr., Excerpt from “I Have A Dream” Speech
2025 is a year of hope—Spes non confundit (Latin for “Hope does not disappoint”). We are encouraged to repent, forgive, and renew our focus on our walk with Christ.
Our hope in the Lord and in our community will not disappoint.
